Kym Thompson
Starting at the young age of 15, Kym Thompson made designing surfboards his life’s work and to this day he designed and shaped everything from single fin boards, right down to all multi-fin configurations.
Kym's journey began in Australia, where he discovered the thrill of riding waves. Fuelled by his love for surfing, he embarked on a remarkable adventure that eventually led him to Thailand, where he joined the largest surfboard manufacturer in the world, Cobra.
Originally Kym began his career shaping longboards and as the shortboard era took hold, Kym advanced his skills and transitioned his designs to meet the demands of the market. Watch Kym's story on how he got involved with NSP.
Atomic Flyer
Built with a traditional custom-shaped polyurethane (PU) core combined with a wood stringer, the core’s density contributes to more mass, letting the Atomic Flyer sit a little lower in the water.
Dream Rider
Two small but pronounced shifts in the rail line enhance the maneuverability of the Dream Rider in either CocoFlax or PU.
Endless
The Endless is perfect for log riders seeking classic style and never-ending glide available in CocoFlax and PU.
Fighting Fish
Fighting Fish riders shred in all conditions. Polyurethane and fiberglass construction has distinct characteristics, embraced by surfers who want a classic and artisan feel.
Hooligan
The Hooligan is an aggressive high-performance longboard that will allow you to do some of the quickest and most dynamic carvings you've ever done on a longboard with designs in CocoFlax and PU.
